Chi siamo
Il Centro Europeo IUHPE-CIPES nasce il 28 Febbraio 2007 a seguito della sottoscrizione di un Memorandum di Intesa tra l’International Union for Health Promotion and Education (www.iuhpe.org), organizzazione internazionale non governativa, e la Confederazione Italiana per la Promozione della Salute e l’Educazione Piemonte (www.cipespiemonte.it).
La sottoscrizione di questo accordo fa seguito alla “Lettera di Intenti”, firmata l’11 settembre 2006 dalla Regione Piemonte, Provincia di Torino e Comune di Torino e supportata dal Ministro della Salute italiano, e accettata dal Comitato Regionale Europeo IUHPE durante l’Assemblea del 17 Ottobre 2006 a Budapest.
Obiettivo Generale
L’obiettivo generale di IUHPE e CIPES Piemonte è quello di contribuire allo sviluppo della promozione della salute, migliorare lo stato di salute e ridurre le disuguaglianze nell’ambito della salute nelle Regioni del Sud e dell’Est Europa, inclusi quei paesi che si affacciano sul Mediterraneo, attraverso la creazione del Centro Europeo IUHPE-CIPES con sede a Torino.
Aree specifiche di cooperazione
Le specifiche aree di cooperazione sono:
- Condivisione e diffusione delle informazioni e delle conoscenze in relazione alla politica, ricerca e pratica nella promozione della salute e nell’educazione per la salute.
- Sviluppo di attività che contribuiscano allo sviluppo di conoscenze e pratiche nell’ambito della promozione della salute soprattutto nel Sud e nell’Est dell’Europa, inclusi i Paesi che si affacciano sul Bacino del Mediterraneo.
- Sviluppo della rete di membri IUHPE nel Sud e nell’Est dell’Europa, inclusi i paesi che si affacciano sul Bacino del Mediterraneo
- Organizzazione della Conferenza Europea IUHPE nel 2008, come deciso durante l’Assemblea del Comitato Regionale IUHPE il 17 Ottobre 2006 a Budapest.

Executive Director
Tania è laureanda in Psicologia, è antropologa e ha frequentato un Master sulla Formazione degli Adulti e un Corso di Perfezionamento post lauream in counselling.
Collabora con il Dipartimento di Scienze Antropologiche (Antropologia della Salute) dell’Università degli Studi di Genova dove ha maturato una significativa esperienza nell’ambito del coordinamento tecnico e scientifico di Progetti internazionali legati ai temi della salute, della cura, dell’etnomedicina e delle medicine tradizionali.Si occupa della direzione del centro in sinergia con le Istituzioni locali e la IUHPE con le quali sviluppa la programmazione annuale delle attività a livello locale e internazionale.
Cristina Agrillo
Project and office manager
Cristina è laureata in Scienze Internazionali e Diplomatiche. Ha studiato in Italia e in Spagna e ha lavorato a Bruxelles dove ha acquisito esperienza professionale nell’ambito delle politiche giovanili e della promozione del volontariato. Attualmente è iscritta al Master di Progettazione, Coordinamento e Valutazione di interventi integrati di promozione ed educazione alla salute dell’Università di Perugia.Si occupa della gestione del Centro; dell’ideazione e implementazione di progetti di promozione della salute a livello euro-mediterraneo; dei contatti con le istituzioni europee e con organizzazioni e professionisti che lavorano nell’ambito della promozione della salute a livello euro-mediterraneo.

About
The IUHPE-CIPES European Centre has been established on February 28, 2007, after the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (www.iuhpe.org) a global non-governmental organization, and the Italian Confederation for Health Promotion and Education – Piedmont (www.cipespiemonte.it).
This agreement follows the “Letter of Intent”, signed on 11th September 2006 by Piedmont Institutions and supported by the Italian Ministry of Health, and accepted by the IUHPE European Regional Committee at its Meeting in Budapest on 17 October 2006.
Overall Goal
The overall common goal of the IUHPE and of the CIPES Piemonte is to contribute to the development of health promotion, to improve health, and to reduce the gap of inequities in Southern and Eastern Europe, including the countries of the Mediterranean Rim through the establishment of a European Centre based in Turin.
Specific Areas of Practical Cooperation
The categories of cooperation at this stage are set out as:

Information and knowledge sharing and dissemination in relation to policy, research and practice in health promotion and health education

Undertaking activities that contribute to the development of knowledge and practice that further the field of health promotion and health education in Southern and Eastern Europe, including the countries of the Mediterranean Rim

Development of the IUHPE membership network in Southern and Eastern Europe, including the countries of the Mediterranean Rim

Organization of the 2008 IUHPE European Conference, as agreed at the IUHPE European Regional Committee at its Meeting in Budapest on 17 October 2006.

Tania Re
Executive Director
Tania is an anthropologist and a final year student in Psychology. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in counselling.
She currently cooperates with the Department of Anthropological Sciences (Medical Anthropology) at the University of Genoa where she gained valuable experience in technical and scientific coordination of international projects in the fields of health, care, ethno medicine and traditional medicine.
At the Centre she is responsible for the direction in synergy with the local institutions and IUHPE with whom the annual programme of local and international activities is developed.

Cristina Agrillo
Project and office manager
Cristina holds a degree in International and Diplomatic studies. She studied in Italy and Spain and worked in Brussels where she gained valuable professional experience in the fields of youth policies and voluntary service. She is currently studying in the “Master programme in development, coordination and evaluation of integrated health promotion and education projects” at the University of Perugia.
At the Centre she is responsible for: the Centre’s management; the development and implementation of health promotion projects at Euro-Mediterranean level; the contacts with the European institutions and with organisations and professionals working in the field of health promotion at Euro-Mediterranean level.
